This is a great replacement coil / CDI unit, but it’s always nice to have a spare for troubleshooting.

The original ones do wear out or develop internal breaks in the wire, which leads to unknown power loss and / or bogging.

A bad coil / CDI or spark plug cap can leave you thinking the carbs need tuning or rebuilding, your CDI is bad, your fuel filter is dirty, etc.
